boutique help!

I am in the beginning stages of starting a boutique. I have all my ideas in place however I need help getting merchandise. This will be a Kiddie Boutique so how do I pick a sales rep? I would love to have a mentor from start to finish. I am a little lost and would appreciate any input from anyone who knows the ropes. Thinking of making it mobile for a while and then getting the space in about a year or so. What is the most effective way to start shopping around? The Magic Show is in February, however you really need to be established in order to register and go. I am not there yet so how do I shop for my store. If you can help and don't mind giving guidance, please respond. Can not wait to be on my way!
